A Stable Start with Big Dreams
LB Equestrian trotted onto the scene in March 2023. It all started with one shelf of horsey essentials and a simple idea: to make shopping easier for the local equestrian community. Word spread quickly, and thanks to the support of passionate riders and owners, we’ve grown into a two-floor store filled with everything your horse could whinny for.
We’re proud to be a family-run business, built on genuine care, experience, and a love for all things equine. Whether you’re a seasoned rider or just starting out, you’ll always find a warm welcome and helpful advice at LB.

We know the challenges horse owners face. Needing something urgently, juggling time at the yard, and trying not to overspend on delivery fees. That’s why we created LB Equestrian: to offer a friendly, reliable, and local shopping experience that puts horse welfare first.
Our store is designed to help you spend more time with your horse and less time chasing parcels. We stock the essentials (and the extras), so you can get what you need, when you need it, without the hassle.
Sterling
Meet Sterling, Laura’s other handsome man in her life. Standing at 16hh, he’s Laura’s overgrown, full-bred, stunning Connemara. At just eight years old, Sterling is Laura’s pride and joy and, in her words, he’s a proper boy!
Sterling is into absolutely everything! If you leave it, Sterling will investigate and most likely smash it, throw it, or put his foot in it. He is a beast, bless him. Behind all his boyish ways, he’s a mummy’s boy. He loves nothing more than big cuddles and kisses and lots and lots of scratches.
Unfortunately, Laura had to make the heart-breaking decision to retire Sterling earlier this year. After so many hopes and dreams for them both, Laura now puts all her time, effort, and love into making Sterling as comfortable as possible, loving him so much and ensuring he’s as happy as can be.
Momma
Momma, the quiet one who causes no trouble. Momma was rescued at the same time as Bubba in 2024. She was found in the corner of the stable, scared and timid. She has a heart of gold, and Laura is confident that as time goes on and trust grows between them, they will share an unbreakable bond.
She’s so soft and sweet and just needs time, care, and love to show her how wonderful life can be. Laura looks forward to working with Momma to help her grow into a confident Shetland and give her the belief she needs to enjoy her life.
Bubba
Bubba… where to start! Rescued last year from Wales along with her mum, Bubba truly lives up to the chestnut mare reputation. She’s feisty, she’s sassy, and she absolutely gives Sterling a run for his grass when it comes to being top of the pecking order. She has no idea she’s tiny!
At roughly five years old, Bubba is an absolute joy and a pleasure to have, and Laura feels honoured to call her hers. She makes Laura smile every day and keeps her on her toes with her cheeky ways. Bubba enjoys walks out with the gang—she loves being in front and adores lots of trotting. Laura hopes to take Bubba to some shows in the future and on trips to see the world.
